Salem Pops Orchestra:

The Salem Pops Orchestra is an all-volunteer orchestra open to area musicians from high school age and higher. Rehearsals are held at 7:00 on Mondays in the Band Room at Walker Middle School in West Salem.  You are always welcome to visit or participate in a rehearsal.  Full membership in the orchestra requires an interview and audition with the director.

No Strings Attached- String Ensemble:

“No Strings Attached” is a string ensemble comprised, primarily, of beginning to intermediate level adult string players (violin, viola, cello, and double bass).   The purpose of the group is to allow string musicians to play easy to moderately difficult string literature in an informal, pressure free, just for fun atmosphere.  No audition is required.  For more information please contact Marlene Hart at (503) 363-4043 or Larry Harrington at (503) 363-7948.
